  • NWRC Participates in the 27th Annual Louisiana Remote Sensing and GIS Workshop:
    USGS National Wetlands Research Center geographer Steve Hartley and Nicholas Enwright (Five Rivers) attended the 27th Annual Louisiana Remote Sensing and GIS Workshop in New Orleans, La., May 3 – 5, 2011. Hartley presented “Analysis of Change in Marsh Types of Coastal Louisiana, 1978-2001" and Enwright presented “Developing a Prioritization Tool for Wetland Restoration in Coastal Louisiana."   • NWRC To Host ICCAGRA Meeting: Staff from the USGS National Wetlands Research Center will host a meeting of the Interagency Coordinating Committee for Airborne Geosciences Research and Applications on May 10 - 11, 2011. The primary purpose of the ICCAGRA is to increase the effective utilization of the Federal airborne fleet in support of airborne geoscience research programs conducted by the individual agencies.
