  • NWRC Branch Chief To Represent USGS at GOMA Meeting: USGS National Wetlands Research Center Branch Chief Scott Wilson will represent USGS at the Gulf of Mexico Alliance (GOMA) Ecosystem Assessment Team Meeting in Key West, Fla., during the last week of January.   • NWRC Branch Chief Participates in LCA Meeting: USGS National Wetlands Research Center Branch Chief Scott Wilson, USGS South Central Deputy Regional Executive Jim Stefanov, and NWRC scientist Greg Steyer participated in a Louisiana Coastal Area (LCA) Science and Technology Meeting in New Orleans on January 14, 2010. The focus of the meeting included updates on restoration issues in the Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary, activities and issues of non-governmental organizations and wetland creation science.
