On March 22, USGS scientist Virginia Burkett was interviewed by the German Press Agency about her experiences as an author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fourth Assessment Report “Climate Change 2007: The Physical Science Basis.” The full report will be published later in the year by Cambridge University Press.

USGS scientist Tommy Michot was interviewed March 27 by TV5Monde/USA, a French language network, about the importance of and challenges facing Louisiana’s coastal wetlands. TV5 is preparing a multimedia DVD on the Cajun/French culture in Louisiana for distribution to television networks world wide.

On March 28, USGS scientist Virginia Burkett will be interviewed by National Public Radio for a story on adaptations to climate change.
