U. S. Geological Survey employees and contractors of IAP World Services, Inc., stationed at the USGS National Wetlands Research Center in Lafayette, La., recently received awards of excellence from the National Association of Government Communicators for partnership products.
Recipients were Scott Wilson, USGS, Gabrielle Bodin, outreach coordinator contractor, and Susan Testroet-Bergeron, education coordinator contractor, for “Turning the tide: the fight to keep coastal Louisiana on the map,” which was entered into the NAGC Blue Pencil Competition.
Additionally, Kathy Ladner and Ryan Twilley, both USGS employees, as well as Wilson and Bodin, received a Gold Screen award for a video produced for the Coastal Planning, Protection and Restoration Act task force’s partnership work.
