Report notes that personnel from the USGS National Wetlands Research Center located in Lafayette, Louisiana, flew over the Louisiana coastline on September 4 to collect video and photographs of areas impacted by Hurricane Gustav. Comparisons will be made with imagery from pre-storm flights. The article quotes Tommy Michot, a member of the USGS NWRC survey team.
