9/29/1998 Hurricane Georges (landfall 9/28/1998)
9/30/2002 Tropical Storm Isidore (landfall 9/28/2002)
10/10/2002 Hurricane Lili (landfall 10/2/2002)
9/18/2004 Hurricane Ivan (landfall 9/16/2004)

Definitions:
Partial: A partial channel is an overwash channel that cuts into the island from the Gulf of Mexico (gulf), but does not go completely through to Chandeleur Sound (sound).

Minor: A minor channel is a narrow overwash channel that cuts through an island and tracks a curved or meandering course from the gulf to the sound.

Major: A major channel is a wide overwash channel that separates two islands in the main chain and tracks a straight course from the gulf to the sound.
